WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?
The purpose of the association is to provide financial aid to young people in the parish who would like to go on an Outward Bound Trust course. The saving is significant. The cost of courses vary depending on duration, but with sponsorship, a 7 day course would cost just £150 instead of £824.
To be eligible to receive financial support from the association, you must be a resident of Bredon, Westmancote, Kinsham, Bredon's Norton or Bredon's Hardwick and aged between 10 and 22. Courses last 5, 7, 14 and 19 days and take place in centres in Wales, the Lake District and Scotland.

OUR ASSOCIATION IS UNIQUE!
There are no other village Outward Bound Associations. The other half dozen associations all cover large cities or counties. They cannot fund all their applicants. We have never turned down a qualifying applicant.

The Bredon Outward Bound Association raises funds to financially support local young people to attend courses. It is an Associated Branch of The Outward Bound Trust, a charity providing residential outdoor activity courses.
